CONTROL IT
When you should go to dr to cheek on blood sugar :- most of the people with diabetes frequently
experience certain symptoms of these nature include:-
- Feeling being very thirsty
- frequent urination
- weight loss
- increased hunger
- blurry vision
- irritability
- tingling or numbness in the hands or feet
- frequent skin, bladder or gum infections
- wounds that don't heal
- extreme unexplained fatigue

- Your sugar level are on border line
- You have type 1 diabetes
- You have type 2 diabetes
What is diabetes?
Diabetes is a disease in which the body is
unable to properly use and store glucose (a form of sugar). Glucose backs up in
the bloodstream — causing one’s blood glucose (sometimes referred to as blood
sugar) to rise too high.
So what are sugar levels which are critical ,For
the majority of healthy individuals, normal blood sugar levels are as follows:-
- Between 4.0 to 6.0 mmol/L (72 to 108 mg/dL)when fasting
- Up to 7.8 mmol/L (140 mg/dL) 2 hours after eating
So if your sugar level are any where close to
108 mg/dL
(fasting ) and 140 ( after eating ) dr will put you on border line
case .
Type 1 diabetes is a disorder where the body
does not produce insulin, which converts sugar, starches and food into energy.
This type of diabetes affects children and young adults.
Type 2 diabetes occurs when the pancreas does
not make enough insulin and the body has higher than normal blood glucose
levels. This type of diabetes can affect children as well as adults.
When dr says you are diabetic then other then
medicines prescribed by him , if you do regular walking ,yoga and other
exercise as you feel fit and take food intake after keeping the food advise as
under you will be able to live your normal life with out tears .
Foods
that Control Blood Sugar
1.
Raw, Cooked, or Roasted Vegetables
These
add color, flavor, and texture to a meal. Choose tasty, low-carb veggies, like
mushrooms, onions, eggplant, tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, and low-carb squashes,
like zucchini. Try them with dips such as low-fat dressings ,hummus, guacamole, and salsa, or roasted
with different seasonings such as rosemary, cayenne pepper, or garlic.
Go
beyond your regular salad and try kale, spinach, and chard. They’re healthy,
delicious, and low-carb, Roast kale leaves in the oven with olive oil for
quick, crunchy chips. You can also mix greens in with roasted veggies to add
texture and a different flavor, or serve them with a little protein, like
salmon.
Plain
water is always good, but water infused with fruits
and vegetables is more interesting. Cut up a lemon or cucumber and put it in
your water, or make ice cubes with some flavoring in them.
If
you’re not a hot tea drinker, try cold tea with lemon or a cinnamon stick.
