- During the consumption of coffee, caffeine present in coffee is then absorbed in the bloodstream.which then travels to the brain where it blocks an inhibitory neurotransmitter called Adenosine.
- This increases the release of neurotrasmitters like norepinephrine and dopamine which are basically "happy hormones ".
- Number of studies have shown that coffee improves number of aspects of brain functioning. Those functions are vigilance, mood, energy levels, reaction times , general cognitive function and most important, The memory.
