Avoiding,living with Diabetes part-1

On this diabetes day we bring a resolve to fight diabetes.here are some methods to help you in your fight with diabetes avoid .these can also be used by people wanting to avoid diabetes

  • Eat a nutritious, high fiber diet : apples, almonds,walnuts,every type of beans, brown rice , oatmeal,pears, whole wheat bread and pasta

  • Do not eat gluten ridden foods : like white  bread, wheat flour,maida (refined flour)

  • Do not eat processed foods : sugary aerated drinks , packaged fruit juices etc practically  all processed foods

  • Always have home cooked meals : they are the best!Because you are in control of what goes into your body.

  • Use the various measuring apps to check on your vital signs or a simple blood test :This is the single biggest favour you can do to your self.

  • Do not smoke :try to quit as smokers have three times more risk of diabetes than normal .Ask your doctor on ways to quit .

  • Avoid alcohol at all costs : it is usually ok to have alcohol with a meal. But this happens rarely so its better to quit drinking
